About The Radio

This is a 5 tube TRF radio with 3 tuning dials. The circuit and operation is nearly the same as the Atwater Kent Model 10A.
By now 10% of the families in the US have radios.
The radio is sitting on a period "Radio Console Table" which has a concealed shelf to hold the batteries and a built in horn speaker.

About The Company

The Music Master company was formed in 1908 making wooden horn speakers for phonographs.
In 1922 they began making radio speaker horns.
They planned a complete line of radios for 1925 and signed contracts with several radio manufacturers to build the sets. Unfortunately, one of their primary manufacturers went bankrupt forcing the Music Master Corporation into bankruptcy in May 1926.
